Cold-brewed coffee is freshly roasted, coarsely ground organic coffee that has been steeped in cold water for 24 hours, thus replacing heat with time. The absence of heat changes the taste profile of the coffee as the flavor is less acidic allowing the coffee’s natural sweetness to shine. Because the coffee is made with cold water, it’s generally mellower and tastes more rounded out.
